How Can severe Ankle Pain Be Treated?

I took 7.5mg of MOBIC for one month with no results. I am now in my second month at 15mg and almost instantly my ankle pain is completely gone (8 on a pain scale to .5). We had a blood test to see if there is anything to be concerned with re kidney function and everything is OK. We will test again in another 30 days. My question is does kidney problems start to show up this soon or is it more likely to occur over a period of time with taking the med for awhile? I am 76 and concerned!

Dear patient
short courses of painkillers dies not lead to renal damage. if the is acute damage to kidney effects will be seen with days. But since you are not having symptoms late damage will not happen. so do not worry.
